Almost any kind of character can
be used in a Darkmatter campaign, from an elite, trained soldier to an
innocent college student. Rules for creating characters, found in
the New Rules section, give the means to create such characters.

Brian MacRawlings
A right-wing seperatist and former
employee of the Parks Department, Brian is one of the Institute's leading
experts on Sasquatch.
Jorge Devereaux
Former officer in the New Orleans
Police Department, Jorge was forced to leave his job after uncovering a
conspiracy to smuggle the body of a Grey into the country. He is
an active believer in voodoo.
Lauren Sosa
A Johns Hopkins educated doctor,
Lauren was prevented from achieving her degree by a strange, uncontrollable
mind power. She is one of the Institute's leading medical experts,
and recently promoted field agent.
