The Darkmatter book provided GMs with a vast variety of unique and strange creatures for their campaign.  In Darkmatter d20, GMs can easily use monsters from the Monster Manual and from other d20 games in their Darkmatter campaigns.  Need an alien servitor race?  Throw in an orc, or an ogre.  However, some particular creatures have no parallels in D&D.  These are translated below.

Ekimmu
The parasitic, vampire like creature that possesses and controls humans.
Etoile
Strange, alien creatures that look like bundles of tendrils.
Grey
The traditional extraterrestials, UFO and all.
Kinori
Bizarre reptilian humanoids from another dimension.
Mothman
These strange, primitive creatures combine insectoid and mammalian features.
Sandman
These servants to the etoile are composed entirely of nanite robots.
Sasquatch
Huge mammals, who might be ancestors of humans, and serve the Greys.
