"Photography is the art of appreciating the beauty of the everyday world around you and recording it for others to share"     --   philosophical musing by Ken

Ken has always enjoyed photography but now that he has a good camera he is finally able to enjoy it as a serious hobby. He has always had a camera, from a toy "Polaroid camera" that showed an image when wet, to a primitive 110mm, to a standard inexpensive 35mm point-and-shoot camera. In high school he took a darkroom photography class and although the class alone failed to make him a good photographer he learned a lot about composition and darkroom technique. During his senior year at college he managed to borrow an old Kodak DC50 digital camera and took lots of pictures for BSM. In the process of recording many cherished memories at WSU he also rediscovered his love for photography. As a graduation gift his parents helped him to buy a Casio QV-3000EX digital camera, which he enjoys immensely. Since he got his camera he has taken thousands of pictures. He has also been honored to take official pictures at several weddings. He's working hard and perhaps someday he will become good enough with a quality portfolio to become a semi-professional photographer.
