Sentry over America will dispense with its normal column,
"Leftist Chronicles," for this issue. The normal
ludicrous lies from the DemocRATS will be replaced with more
quotes from freedom loving people.

"Until a few days ago, our military was preoccupied
with questions of whether female Marine recruits would be
permitted to wear lipstick with their fatigues. There will
be no more of that."
Michelle
Malkin
"This year, the U.S. continued a Clinton-era policy and
committed more than $100 million in foreign aid to Afghanistan
. . . But before we send bombs to the land of our enemies,
we should stop sending them cooking oil and corn meal."
Pete
DuPont
"So where were the CIA and the FBI? Could intelligence
organizations with budgets of tens of billions of dollars
really have missed the whole thing?"
Thomas
Sowell
"This is not a law and order issue. This was an act of
war. When Pearl Harbor was bombed, nobody talked about bringing
the Japanese pilots or even their commanders to justice. We
declared war on Japan."
Don
Feder
"In the wake of the greatest carnage on American soil
since the Civil War, our leaders tell us we are now at war
with terrorism. Where have they been for the past 30 years?
The Arab oil embargo wasn't an act of war? What about the
1982 bombing of the Marine compound in Beirut (241 dead) --
or the attack on U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the
Khobar Towers bombing and the assault on the USS Cole?"
Charles
Krauthammer
"One of the reasons there are terrorists out there
capable and audacious enough to carry out the deadliest attack
on the United States in its history is that, while they have
declared war on us, we have in the past responded (with the
exception of a few useless cruise missile attacks on empty
tents in the desert) by issuing subpoenas."

When $20 dollars worth of box cutters in the hands of a few
fanatics causes $20 billion dollars of damage, fiction and
reality tend to mesh together.

Keep all Senators in
their home states. Keep all Congressmen in their home districts.
Keep the President, Vice-president, and the Cabinet dispersed.
Communicate through 21st century electronic means and teleconferences.
This is 21st century warfare where our Congress can be wiped
out in a flash by 5-10 peopleor one person with a backpack
nuke. We should now operate our government in a 21st century
mode where weapons get smaller, more powerful, and more destructive
every year. Our survival as a nation is at risk if we do not.

Ignorance in America
Who are the ignorant 34%
NBC has reported a poll that said 66% of the
American people feel that the WTC attack was worse than Pearl
Harbor.
My question is, who exactly are these ignorant
34%? This is serious since if World War III has begun and
34% of Americans are this dense, we have a monumental internal
problem. Not only was the number killed greater than Pearl
Harbor, but the threat from the enemy is greater as they have,
or are getting, weapons of mass destruction.
If you feel like you have to do something to
help your country, find one of these ignorant 34% and educate
them. We are going to have a long war, and we still have these
34% ignorant people watching ignorant, socialist scum like
Peter Jennings, Katie Couric, and Dan Rather.
To help everyone, let's all list one person
that we feel is a member of the 34% ignorant people. I will
start off with Michael Eisner at Disney. After all, he put
Alec Baldwin, Mr. anti-American, into the Pearl Harbor movie
and then turned a historic event into a liberal touchy-feely
movie. Hopefully, he will never make a movie about the WTC.
Feel free to send me your favorite ignorant
person and I may reprint your letter. But also, go out and
find a 34% type in your neighborhood, office, or family and
educate then that this is far more serious than Pearl Harbor.
The war effort depends on you.

Tired of the centrist mumble? Here are some refreshing
comments straight from the"tell it like it is" school.
Benjamin
Netanyahu
"But these regimes that are part of this terror
network are developing now nuclear weapons. If we don't dismantle
this terror network in time, the regimes and the organizations
that have absolutely no inhibition in destroying the United
States and its allies. Then what we will see is that one day
their mad fantasy will bring about not tens of thousands or
even 20,000 victims in the United States, but hundreds of
thousands or millions."
Chuck
Morse
"There is a great deal of talk presently making the
rounds regarding the possible use of chemical, biological
and even nuclear weapons by this irrational and entrenched
enemy. Based on events of this last week, these threats should
be taken very seriously."
Peggy
Noonan
"We are lucky because for some reason--for some reason,
and we don't even know what it was--the terrorists didn't
use a small nuclear weapon floated into New York on a barge
in the East River. We are lucky that this didn't turn nuclear,
chemical or biological. It could have, and I thought the next
time the bad guys hit it would have."
Ann
Coulter
"We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing
only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German
cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
President
Bush
“When I take action, I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile
at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It’s going
to be decisive.”
Ross
Mackenzie
Then we should - we must - track them down and deliver them
unto Allah or his equivalent.
President Bush should elicit from Congress - now - a declaration
of war against the perpetrators and any governments harboring
them. On the assumption that those not with us are against
us, we should regard as our enemies any governments failing
to enlist in our quest for justice.
