"It is preposterous to claim Bush has been uncompromisingly promoting a purist conservative agenda. Look at his education package, which includes enormous increases in federal spending . . . Even Bush's Education Secretary is said to be displeased with the bill Bush ultimately accepted."—David Limbaugh

2001 In Review—The Blunders—and the Best

Bumbling Blatant Blunders of the GOP in 2001

Thank you, Mr. President, for surrounding yourself with outstanding professionals. The difference between your staff and the Reno/ShaLaLaLand freaks of SCUMBAG stretches from the White House to Alpha Centauri. How blessed we are having you and your team in this time of need. God Bless You.

But what about the blunders of 2001? Let's look at those and then note a few of those "special sweet moments" of 2001.

The Blowhard

The year started in the wrong tone when, just before Inaugural Day, Robert Ray yanked the eject lever on the Clinton escape pod and issued him a pardon. My belief is that Ray was pressured to do that from President-elect Bush. Gingrich, John Kasich, and Orrin Hatch sent up trial balloons repeatedly over the airways so I believe it was fixed. (Issue 4 of SENTRY addressed this in Unequal Justice Around Law).

The blood of the victims from the WTC stains the hands of SCUMBAG in light of his pardon of terrorists and his failure to wage war against Al Qaeda. The transcripts of the court case U.S. versus Usama bin Laden where he declared war against the U.S. throughout Clinton's term proves SCUMBAG ignored a declaration of war. Since when is war ever declared against the U.S. for 6 years and a President never responds? When that blowhard is too busy trying to find a "legacy" or in getting hummers from interns. This is the land of equality? Like the Senate's failure to impeach, SCUMBAG received a second free pass. (See transcript quote below [1])

The Budget

One of the great hopes of many Americans of this new administration was to finally see some reversal of the ballooning socialism in the United States. Finally, a chance to cut waste and fraud, cut taxes, and get efficient. The result of President Bush's first budget? Not a cut in the growth. Not a flat-line budget. Not a slight increase over inflation. Not double inflation. A two trillion dollar budget that came in triple the rate of inflation. Socialism steamrolls on.

The Bum

Shortly after the budget blunder, the bum Jeffords cried about the Education department only receiving six times (6 times) the rate of inflation increase in the budget. After years of throwing taxpayers hard earned money at this great wasteland, the traitor Jeffords felt that this ridiculous increase in spending was insufficient so he sleazed a few feet over to the other side of the aisle.

What the GOP should have done when Jeffords walked was go to Collins, McCain, Specter, Chaffee, Snowejob and the rest of the RINOs and tell them to "get out of our house." They should have cleared the decks since the GOP had a minority anyway. To retain socialists in the GOP is a major blunder. These RINOs are part of the blotches of blue in the sea of red and it would have been best to send them packing. At least the GOP would present a more cohesive agenda.

The Baggage

How could any sane minds in the GOP sign off on that "Slap a Federal Patch on the Idiots Bill"? The FAA and the NTSB—federal agencies—failed us miserably leading to 911. The INS and Customs—federal agencies—failed us miserably leading to 911. The CIA and the FBI—federal agencies—failed us miserably leading to 911. So the GOP says, "Gee, let's sign off on federalizing the baggage checkers." Putting a new patch on the same 'ol recycled baggage checkers that says "Federal" which prevents them from being fired, no matter how incompetent they are, is nothing short of insane. If the FAA and other agencies were held responsible for setting and enforcing standards, corporate employees could do the job and we would have 30,000 less leftists in government. Bulletin—Washington: "The Transportation Department said today that, contrary to what the bill said, they will NOT require baggage checkers to have high school diplomas." Soooo predictable.

The Bingo !

We are suppose to elect leaders, not followers. Then why is it that after 911, emotion overcame sanity and GOP leaders signed off on 6 billion dollars for the victims of 911? Many of those WTC victims were single with no kids. Their cousins and uncles should not get a dime of government money, yet the estate of these single people will receive part of that great 6 billion dollar bingo prize jackpot.

The WTC was pretty fancy digs. Do you know how many wealthy victims had mega-million dollar life insurance policies? Should a janitor not making very much money have his estate receive this flat sum payoff, or should all payouts have been based on a certain factor multiplied by annual earnings? The lowest paid had the skewing in their favor to say the least. Thanks to Bill O'Reilly, the charity money raised—if given only to the victims who were married or had children—is more than enough to help those who had no insurance. And on that note, hard working Americans who did have insurance once again get "screwed" as the proceeds are "skewed" to those with no insurance.

Other firemen, policemen, and employees killed in the US this year are not receiving a government bingo prize. If the GOP wanted to offer lottery money above what the charities did, they should have demanded all compensation be paid for with Iraqi oil or from other resources of any of the countries responsible—not taken from the tax dollars of a housewife in Idaho who lost her fireman husband in a fire set by an terrorist arsonist. Nor should the money come out of your hide and mine.

The Best

The best of 2001? That is simple. The Boooooooooooooooooooooooooos SCUMBAGETTE received in New York. What decent good American could ever forget one of the most heartwarming acts of its citizenry seen in years. Those booos did more for the American psyche, instilling great pride and comaraderie, than anything the GOP did in 2001. Those booos said what words can not say and with so many Americans it spoke volumes. For those in attendance, you will never know how proud we are of you. That scene will forever be etched on the minds of Americans for decades to come.

The Bitch

Those booos were given for many reasons like the Yankee Stadium antics and others. But one driver may have been that sour, ugly, wretched witch face she put on at President Bush's address to Congress after the WTC attack. That bitch with her contorted and dour face of hers while everyone else was smiling and confident in the President's address will forever be etched on the minds of Americans for decades to come.

The Beautiful

Laura Bush. In one second during a TV interview, you see more warmth, honesty, and love in her demeanor and appearance than we saw in eight years of SCUMBAGETTE. Come to think of it, was there ever any of that in eight years?

Secretary Rumsfeld. The spirit of red America. Brutally honest and a true professional with a distaste for idiotic leftist questions. A national treasure.

President Bush.

1. "Odeh talked to Mustafa about Bin Laden declaring war against American people in his last two fatwahs. They discussed if al Qaeda was right in doing this. They were concerned if they were ready to face such an enemy." (Referring to conversations of bin Laden back in the early to mid 1990s. The repeated declarations of war against the US in the 1990s by bin Laden are well documented.)

This is from the transcript of Day 12 of the trial, February 28, 2001.
