Nam Wah Pai
Nam Wah Pai was established in 1964 by Grandmaster Sim Po Ho (Golden Belt 10th Dan) in Singapore. Today Nam Wah Pai branches have been established in Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Chile and Taiwan. Its aim is to advance and promote traditional Chinese martial arts in a scientific and systematic way. Techniques and knowledge taught are results of gathering the essence of Shaolin, Tai Chi and other traditional Chinese martial arts, culminating in the formation of this independent and unique system.
The true meaning of Nam Wah Pai “Qigong” is cultivated via extensive training in Tai Ji Gong. Qigong, commonly known to others as internal strength, is an art of breathing control that helps to promote both physical fitness and mental health. It allows us to direct our internal energy to various parts of our body such as the abdomen, arms, back and throat to build power and prevent injuries.
