CardCaptor Sakura Manga

The creation of the all Japanese female comics team, CLAMP, CardCaptor Sakura first appeared in the monthly Japanese girl's magazine, Nakayosi in June 1996. It began it's run just as Sailormoon was nearing its finale in that same magazine. Sailormoon fans thus knew of Card Captor Sakura because of this connection.

Currently, there are 12 individual volumes released. Each volume contains a 'Clow Card' shaped character card. The first storyline of the manga ended at individual volume 6, while the second storyline begins with volume 7. Volume 12 is the final volume.

In April 1997, Ever Glory Publishing Co Ltd, under the license from Kodansha Ltd, faithfully translated the manga into chinese language. The only difference is the language printed in the manga and the 'Clow Cards' being left out.
