Food Bank

During the holiday season our guild makes cash contributions to our local foodbank.

Due to the need in the community, we’ve also started a collection at monthly meetings.  Please bring some food or a dollar to put in the donation jar.  Some examples of good food items to bring include the following.

Meal in a can or box: Ready-to-eat, canned soup, stew, chili beans, hearty soups.

Easy to prepare: Macaroni and cheese, Hamburger Helper, Rice A Roni, taco kits, etc.

Protein in a can: tuna

Everything collected at the meetings will be delivered to the Interfaith Food Bank in Jackson.

Contact Kathy Harmon who heads up our new Food Bank initiative.
