Consider this my mission statement. But unlike others, this one wasn't developed at a retreat costing thousands of dollars.To find the good, we must wade through the bad. You'll appreciate good movies better if you've sat through some crappy ones now and then.

Everything, I've reviewed is a b-movie. But what's a B-movie? Is it B because of a low budget?There have been some high budgeted pieces of golden crap. Is it a B-movie, because of if you mention to your friends, they'll scratchtheir heads wondering why'd you watch, remember it? If so, Sean Connery wearing a diaper, and riding flying sone heads wouldmake Zardoz a B-movie. Is it B because of the plot? A lot of things can make a movie a B-movie.In the end, it comes down to this question. Does it feel like one? I don't think anyone could deny Battlefield Earth is B-movie, but notin the good way. It may be cheap, poorly written, acted, directed, etc...But, odds are it's still better than Glitter. That was cheap shot, but it was deserved anyways.

How do I choose what I review? Right now, I'm reviewing movies I have on DVD. I can think of some movies I may get to review. But, how many times has " Evil Dead II " been reviewed? As much as I'd like to review it, I don'tthink I can really say add anything to what everyone else has said. I'm trying to cover some that aren't as widely known. But, with as many movie review sites, I am bound to review somethings that are probably covered better elsewhere. I have to start somewhere. But, for now Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson movies are pretty safe....

I'm doing this because, I didn't realize how much enjoyment I got out of doing it. I can't proclaim my opinion is better than anyone else's opinion. It is only different. But, is the general public interested in spaghetti westerns, Mexican wrestling movies, etc..? Takes a special sort to appreciate Legend of the 8 Samurai.
