1900 hours eastern time over the Colorado mountains. A multi-national task force under the leadership of man named Bastion attacks an ordinary plane carrying five X-Men. One wing cut in half, the cabin “compromised,” the controls not functioning, the plane kept aloft by telepathy, and the Bastion’s fighter planes are shooting at them. When nothing else can go wrong, they release Marvel’s favorite robots, the Sentinels, new and improved each time we see them. And it was as upsetting as it was an exciting ride to watch the uncanny X-Men defeated. | |
