A few years ago, a massacre occured here. Dozens of Morlocks were slaughtered by a group called the Marauders. The youth of the surviving Morlocks have come back to Earth as Gene Nation. Led by Marrow, their insane plan was to duplicate the massacre, this time with humans as the targets. They were stopped by the X-Men.
Storm once led the Morlocks. She left the leadership to Callisto, a decision confronted Marrow.
