I finally got around to scanning up a bunch of pictures and will be presenting them to you all, including a picture of me when I haven't put gel in my hair (please don't be too frightened), pictures of Morgue (one of the victims of the fire), older pictures of Kisa, and some of the cats that we have. Also included are pictures of the birds, Shade, and our house right after the fire. I have pictures of the house as it looks right now, but please, one thing at a time.
Before I go any further, Shade sneezed all over the back of my head again, so once again, dog slobber is not my friend.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get into things. First off, here are some pictures from a few years back when we still lived in Brunswick.
This is Shadow. We had this cat for over 10 years before she gave in to a bladder problem two years ago. We had to put her to sleep because there was no way we were going to try and make her live through her misery. She was a good cat, the kind that would chase string all day if she could. She was way too smart for her own good.
The next few are of Morgue, the cat that I mentioned back in my first entries after the fire. I'll miss the bastard, even if he was an ankle biter. He was just too damn adorable for his own good.
Morgue loved sleeping in my hamper for whatever reason. Now that I think of it, so did Kisa, but this was the only time I was ever able to catch any of the cats sleeping in there. One time he got himself in, but couldn't get out. He finally managed to knock the hamper over and just walked away like nothing happened.
This was Morgue's favorite toy, I still don't know what the hell it was. He loved it though and he'd play with it all the time, eventually managing to eat part of it. I told y'all he was one weird cat. He would chase your shadow on the ground too if you let him. His other favorite thing? The light from a flashlight. I managed to get him to run into something more than once. That's how much he got into things.
This is everyone's favorite picture of Morgue. That night, my mom fell asleep on the couch, which was normal, and Morgue decided to put his paw on her head while she snoozed there. He sat like that for a good 20 minutes before my mom finally came around a little. I saw him doing this though and just had to take a picture.
This is Kisa sleeping on my bed way back in 1999. She slept there all the time, regardless of whether or not I was in bed. She knew it was my bed, so that's where she slept, especially after my mom shut her out of her room. Note the blue flea collar. I dare anyone to try and get another one on her.
Kisa loved sleeping next to or on my mom almost as much as me and this night, Kisa was doing her best to make sure my mom couldn't do what she was trying to do. If I remember right, my mom had to keep pushing Kisa back onto her shoulder as she would try and lay right in front of the book.
Same situation, different angle.
Those are all the pictures that I felt like uploading for this little trip down memory lane. All pictures seen are from 1999 when we were still living in Brunswick.
Next up, pictures of our cats, birds, Shade, and a walk-through of the house after the fire.
