Confused
My knees start to shake,
When you're in sight.
My mind fills with wonder,
My heart with fright.
When will this feeling stop?
When did it start?
How can I listen to my mind
Without breaking my heart?
I'm so confused
What should I do?
I can't think of anything, excpet you.
Should I ignore you,
Or just give it time?
I can't think straight
My heart controls my mind.
We all want to fall
in love. Why?
because that experience makes us feel completly alive.
Where every sense is heightend, every emotion is magnified,
our everyday reality is shatterd and we are flying into the heavens.
It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon.
But that doesn't diminish its value.
Because we are left with memories that we treasure for the rest of our lives.
True Love
Only once in a lifetime,
You will find your one true love.
He will just "pop up" on you
When you least expect him
But when you need him the most!!!
It will start as instant friendship
And grow into nothing you have ever known or ever will again.
You soon realize that you can't live without him in your life.
He is all you think about...
He is all you want...
He is all you need...
Even when you are apart, you can feel him with you!
You long to see his smile
that makes all your troubles instantly go away.
You long to have his arms around you
So you can feel so loved, wanted and safe.
You long for his kiss, that shows how much he loves you.
You long to hear him say "I love you, Hon"
You count the days until you can be together.
And be totally happy.
Even if it is only for a little while.
And then you both have to go back to your own worlds and miss eachother
Because you both found your one true love
Too late!
But if you are lucky enough to find eachother
you will treasure every single second
you have with him like it was your last
Because it just might be!
Fate brought him to you
And fate can take him away just as fast!
If you love
someone, let them go.
If they return to you, It was meant to be.
If they don't, their love was never yours to begin with.

Application
He's teaching her arithmetic,
He said it was his mission.
He kissed her once, he kissed her twice and said,
"Now, thats addition."
And as he added smack by smack
In silent satisfaction,
She sweetly gave the kisses back and said
"Now, thats subtraction."
Then he kissed her, she kissed
him,
Without an explanation,
And both together smiled and said
"Thats multiplication."
Then dad appeared upon the scene
and made a quick decision
He kicked that kid 3 blocks away
and said, "Thats long division."
Some people come
into our lives,
Leave footprints on our hearts,
and we are never the same.
Your Face
I love your beautiful eyes,
The way they sparkle in the sun,
You look at me and I smile
My heart weighs a ton.
I love your cute little nose,
It fits perfect on your face,
It gives plenty of beauty,
To a face already full of grace.
I love your wonderful smile,
It can easily light the sky,
I go crazy when I see it,
To stand it, I must try.
I love your entire face,
To write this poem I must do,
But if I really think about it,
I realize I just love you.
Loving someone
that doesn't love you is like reaching
for a star. You know you'll never reach it, but you
just go to keep trying.
"If Tomorrow never
comes"
If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
And pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last
time
That I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
And call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last
time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word
so I could play it back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last

I could spare an extra minute or two,
To stop and say "I love you,"
Instead of assuming you KNOW I do.

I would be there to share your day...
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
So I can just let this one slip away.
For surely there's always
tomorrow
To make up for an oversight,
And we always get a second chance
To make everything right.
There will always be another day
To say our "I love you's."
And certainly there's another chance
To say our "Anything I can do's?"
But just in case I might be
wrong,
And today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
And I hope we never forget... (that...)
Tomorrow is not promised to
anyone,
Young or old alike.
And today may be the last chance you get
To hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for
tomorrow,
Why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
You'll surely regret the day.
That you didn't take that extra
time
For a smile, a hug, or a kiss.
And you were too busy to grant someone,
What turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close
today,
And whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
And that you'll always hold them dear.
Take time to say "I'm
sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
You'll have no regrets about today.
