Pokemon Stadium

Intro

Pokemon Stadium, scheduled to be released here in North America in March 2000 is a game for the Nintendo 64. There are many modes of play in this game like Rattata races and Lickitung games where you have to eat sushi, but the biggest mode is the one where you fight. Load your pokemon from your own game cartridge and watch them figth in glorious 3D!

The GB Pak

The GB Pak is about the size of a Rumble Pak. You insert your Pokemon Game Boy Cartridge in it and your pokemon data is transferred from the back of your controller to your N64. Using it, you can fight with the pokemon you already had in the game =)!

Battles

The pokemon will make fantastic battle scenes when they are at equal levels. It will be in a stadium, and the pokemon will be surrounded by a crowd. Those who don't have a Pokemon Cartridge can still play, as you can train 40 pre-programmed pokemon found in the game, so you can play against your friends tha aren't even pokemon fans to a high point. Oh and yes, Pokemon Stadium will be compatible with the Red, Blue and Yellow versions of Pokemon.

Conclusion

Pokemon Stadium looks very promissing with great graphics and a good replay value, since you'll never have the same fight twice. I am going to buy it. Are you?
