If you've seen the WB cartoon, then you know the kind of crazy adventures that Ash and Pikachu get in together. Well, this fall, you'll get your chance to experience them first-hand in pokemon yellow, the upcoming release for GameBoy. Overall, the game will be very similar to both the Red and Blue versions. Your goal will be to travel around collecting and battling pokemon until you've caught 'em all, a feat you won't be able to acheive until you've traded with other games. However, in the yellow version you will begin with pikachu as your loyal companion, and it will be visible tagging along after you as you move through the world. If patrolling Pikachu's not enough for you, there are plenty of other cool features as well. The addition of Colosseum 2 lets you battle a friend in three different weight classes-the PokeCup, the PikaCup and the PetitCup-by linking up two pokemon yellow games with a game link cable. You can also use your GameBoy Printer to print out your pokedex, Box info from the PC, and other hidden things throughout the game. We'll have more details as they come!
