The start
was in 1996 in the church of St. Mina and Sorial the Angel in El-
Omrania El- Gharbya. We worked on the carpets in front of the alter for
these was no place else. We worked one day weekly and the number of
children did not exceed five… In 1997, development occurred to our
service and we had affixed place, we had electrical apparatuses for
physiotherapy.
In 1998, the service transferred to place behind the church ( a
shelter for the blind). Physiotherapy was practiced and offered to
anyone in need and not only children. The service transferred again in
the same year to the clinic of Michael the Angel and ST.Moris and we
worked three days weekly.
In 1999, we lost all wooden and electrical apparatuses and we lost
the place as well because of the oppressions that rose around us.
In 4-6-2000 the service returned even stronger in El-Manahry center
and reached all handicapped regardless religion ( Christian or Muslim)
and the children became 30 .
In 2001 the idea of establishing an association declared by the
government to serve children with special needs emerged.
In 1-9-2001 we started working in the present residence.
In 28-1-202 the association was declared as "ST. Antony's association
for social needs" under the number 1667 Giza. The children became 110
children. We appointed some specializations such as dentist, an internal
medicine physician, pediatrician and a numberss of physiotherapists
