My Trip to Al's Wedding |
||||
Introduction:
This webpage will present my thoughts, images, and impressions from my trip to Al's wedding. It will not be a wedding album for Al. Contact him for that.
Al is a friend from college, The Catholic University of America*. There were six of us rooming near each other on 2nd floor of the Flather dorm. Mike and Mark roomed together at the end of the floor. Al's and Paul's room were next to them. Carlos's and my room were 3 doors down. Paul is the best man in Al's wedding. (Al in Paul's wedding, Carlos and Mike in my wedding, etc.) Beyond mentioning these facts, I will not be adding any more comments about our college endevours because one of our spouse's may read this page. Also note that now that we are all married except Mike, I have started a seperate webpage where interested women can pursue a potentially enlightening relationship to him.
*Note: The Catholic University of America, located in Washington, DC, was established by the American bishops as a graduate and research center for the study of "all branches of literature and science, both sacred and profane." In 1887 Pope Leo XIII approved the plan to found CUA, the ONLY national Catholic center of learning in the United States with a papal charter (not Notre Dame). As the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States, CUA is the only American university with ecclesiastical faculties granting canonical degrees in theology, philosophy, and canon law. (Contrary to what he might have told his family, Al did not receive a canonical degree.) Also it is the home of the 2001 NCAA Division III Basketball Champions. Go Cardinals!!!
