Wednesday afternoon:

Paul and I got the rental car and headed to Lake Tahoe. This photo was taken at one of those scenic stops along the road to Tahoe. Paul remarked about that fresh alpine smell. It was much better than those cheap evergreen tree air fresheners for your car.
After checking in at the hotel, we cruised around the local area. We are lunch at Joni's. Then we relaxed at Hyatt. We sat on the pier in deck chairs, drank beer, and watched boats and a canoe go by. Not a bad afternoon. Finally we did have to go back and pick up Mike at the airport. I missed my chance for watching the sunset on Lake Tahoe that evening. I'm blaming that one on you, Mike. After picking up Mike, we took him back to Joni's as they were closing up. Here's a pciture of us with the cooks. The girls there weren't willing to get their picture taken with us and I hadn't yet asked them if they would pose barefoot with us. We spent some of the time catching each other up with what is going on in our lives.
	I have 3 holes punched. 7 more and I get a free hamburger. If you are going to Lake Tahoe, I'll send you my card and see if you can get more holes punched.
