On this page you can read about our future plans as well as something's that have happened. I will try to keep it updated the best I can.

 

Our most important thing for the future is to have Sam meet his son Wesley face to face and become friends with him. Sam would like nothing more than to be a part of his son's life. He's not looking to be daddy... He understands that someone else raised him and was a dad to him, But after all these years he would like to atleast be able to make friends with him and be able to talk with him from time to time or more if he would let him. Everyone makes mistakes in their life but should not have to pay for them till the end. Not all the absents from his life was his own fault and I pray every day that my Sam can have this wonderful reunite with Wesley....

 

 

Sam's dream is to one day have a song he wrote played on the radio. Sam writes me songs all the time and they are so beautiful. We have also written a total of 12 songs together. We love to write about our love, the kids and their life and also every now and than we write about someone elses life and what they are going through. I am checking into getting someone to hear his CD we had made with our songs done on a demo tape. Sam also likes to sing and play a lot of Country songs so I have made him a page where you can download some of his favorite songs in text format with the guitar chords. just click on the guitar above and it will take you there. UPDATE
Sam was driving around at work today and saw that the state fair was looking for new talent...Kind of a star search thing. He picked up an application and turned it in on August 30,2002. The fair is at the end of September so if we are lucky we will get a call sometime soon telling him he has been chosen to preform at the fair...God, it is my dream that I can see him have that one chance in the world to be seen and heard by people of this world. I don't like him living with the what if's. See a few years ago Sam and his band were offered a chance to go to Nashville. His band did not want to go.They took that dream away from him and I want him to have it..If anything just have that ONE DAY!I'll let you know what happenes

 

 

UPDATE
Sam got the call he is going to play at the fair ... He played the song he wrote for me "A Women Like You" and the best thing was the night they let him on stage to sing was my birthday so he got a thrill out of also telling everyone in East Texas it was my birthday... I could not of asked for a better presant.... God, I Love This Man :)

Dec 28,2004 Sam got a e-mail from the Paramount Group in Nashville, Tennesse , They received some of the song's he had written and wanted him to send them those songs on a disc . They wanted to hear him sing and play the songs he wrote... We can't wait to hear back from them maybe we will be moving to Nashville and making my man's dream come true. Sam is a wonderful writer and singer and damn that man can play the guitar. I wish one day we can hear him or one of his songs played on the radio. Sam's band "Midnight Breeze" is doing ok, it could be better if some of them would take it more serious like he does they seem to want to drink more than practice. But I guess you take the good with the bad and make the best of it.

 

UPDATE
May 2006 Sam has been sending in some demo's and more songs he wrote to The Paramount Group in Nashville, Tennesse , They have sent him a few contracts to sign. Once he signs these contracts everything will be set in motion. He is so excited as well as I am for him. This just may be his break of getting his songs out there. So as of this date we have placed our 5 bedroom house on the market for sale we are heading north to Nashville. The girl's are so excited they can not wait to live there. We went for a visit on our 4 year anniversary and just fell in love with Nashville and the smaller towns around it. Funny thing is once I said we were moving and heading North Mom and Dad and Sis have also put their houses on the market and said they are going to follow us...YEAH!!! Now if we can get Kristi and the kids to come things will be perfect !
