About St. Michael

St. Michael Church was organized in the summer of 1867 by the Rev. William Kronke of Riga, Michigan. After meeting for 20 years in a schoolhouse, the first church was built in 1887. Destroyed by fire in 1937, a second building served the congregation until 1959, when the present church was dedicated. In 1972, the entire worship-education-recreation facility was completed.

St. Michael has 514 baptized members.
