8X10" CABINET
This cabinet is one of the key ingredients to the Byrd sound. The highly regarded Marshall 8x10" cab [model #1990] is a monster in every way - volume, bass response, weight and height! Produced from the mid 60's to the early 70's the 8x10" is one of Marshall's hidden gems in their product line. The speakers are original 10watt Celestion's which have been re-coned to original specs.
Please note the pictures above are not Byrd's actual cabinet. They are purely to illustrate the size and insides of the 8x10" cab, the example above is pretty much exactly the same as Byrd's however, although this a later model as shown by the basket weave front.
