Silicon Designs is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in the shadow of the Cascade mountains.
FACILITIES
Eleven thousand square foot leased facility located in Issaquah Washington, 15 miles east of
Seattle (Map/
Driving Instructions). 400 sq. foot clean room for micro-machining of
micro-sensors and 1,000 sq. foot clean room for hybrid and micro-assembly operations.
In-house processes include thin film deposition, diffusion, etching, micro-machining,
sacrificial etching, plasma cleaning, dicing, auto die attach, auto wire bonding, lid
sealing, auto testing, marking and MIL-STD-883 screening.
CAPABILITIES
Electronic, circuit, system, and product design. Micro-machining and thin-film
development, ASIC, hybrid, micro-sensor, and PC board design. Extensive CAD and computer
software capability. Product development, manufacturing, marketing and product
improvement. Custom developed automatic test capability. Technology licensing to volume
producers.
PRODUCTS
Analog and digital output
accelerometers. Stand-alone, instrumentation grade single
and 3-axis accelerometer modules. Self contained,
battery operated, microprocessor based data loggers, thin
film links and resistors, slapper detonators, micro-sensors,
and contact fuse/impact sensors. DOD Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts.

Nineteen full time engineering, professional business and management staff.
Non union
team in cooperative business setting. The team is comprised of highly skilled, quality
oriented, professionals with many years of multi-disciplined experience.

screening to MIL-STD-883 and product qualification based on MIL-PRF-38534
(non QML).
