Interface Design
To use a product be it a website,
game, software, electronics, handheld devices, etc. depends on the
kind of interface it carries. An interface exhibits various functions
that a product can perform or the kind of capabilities it has. But
the product can be used to its optimum capacity when the interface
is user friendly.
The Project
As a part of the classroom project we were asked to structure an
entertainment portal for Ahmedabad city. The prime objcetive of
the whole exercise was to develop a navigational structure where
the user would have to go through minimum number of 'clicks' to
book tickets online for a movie. Other than this the portal
offered city news, music information, restaurant guide etc. The
course was taken by Ms. Apalla Lahiri from Human Factors India.
