The Kdam
 The 1989 "Kdam" looked like a kid Festival with the attendance of 12-year-old boy Gili Netanel and the 15-year-old girl Osnat Zeno.
Other well known artists in the contest were the successful female trio, Mango; Avi Toledano who represented Israel in 1982; and Vardina Cohen, sister of Izhar Cohen.
Romi Halachmi, an anonymous singer who came last, will be remembered for the spider tatoo on her shoulder, as seen in the picture above.

The winning song
 The young children's gimic worked, and Gili Netanel with Galit Borg flew together to Switzerland.
The live performance in the Eurovision final was very bad, when Gili was very exited, was totally off tune, and even missed a word. The song reched the 12 position.
