Ilana Avital had found her second home in the "Kdam" and competed in it on four occasions.
In 1983 she sang the song "Od Veod" (More and More), a name that could maybe indicate of her intentions
about the Kdam contest... She ended at the 5th position.
Her second try was four years later, in 1987, when Ilana had reached her highest Kdam
position ,which was second, with the song "Dai Li Dai" (Enough), a name that can indicate the audiance polite request from Ilana.
In 1991 Ilana came back to the show with the song "A'havati Ha'achrona" (My Last Love),
a song that wasn't accepted so well and ended at the 9th position.
Never the less, this wasn't Ilana's "last love" as the song's lyrics implies, and she came back in 1996 with the song "Lais Moi Teme".
This time she brought her eldest son, Amit Tzach, to help her win. Amit had written the song and also performed with his
mother. Unfortunately Ilana reached only 6th.
Some eye witnesses swear that Ilana said after this "Kdam" that she would never do this again. We'll see....
