The Kdam
The biggest Kdam ever was held this year with 16 participating songs. The contest was held inside the 'Cinerama' teatre in Tel-Aviv in a live show including orchestra.
Yardena Arazi and Yoram Arbell, a TV broadcaster, were the presenters of the evening.

Notable artists this year were Miki Kam, a popular Israeli comedian, Orna & Moshe Datz, the winners of the 1991 "Kdam", Tzvika Pik, Ilana Avital and Etti Ankri, a very popular singer today, in her first TV attendance.
In the beginning of the voting process, Miki Kam recieved 3 succesive 12 points, and was a lot infront of any other song, But slowly as the voting continue, Ilana Avital and Habatlanim recieved more points and passed her, leaving her at the 3rd position. Ilana Avital reached high with her 80's ABBA style hit "Dai Li Dai", and of course Habatlanim reached the 1st position, and were sent to Brussles, were they achived the 8th position.
Theire song recieved alot of popularity amoung children all over Europe and beyond, especially in Iceland, where they were invited to give shows in few TV programs.
