Welcome to my new Duncan pages. I tried to give them a rather interesting new look. It's still the same material, and the same Duncan that we all know and love. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
popi.com: Are you the kind of person who prefers making records or playing live?
DS: I'm a recording person. So the live part of this is my next journey, so to speak, that I'm going to have to go on, and I'm totally looking forward to it. I think it's going to help me grow a lot, to really start to enjoy that process as much as I enjoy making records.
popi.com: Congratulations, you're the first person in a long time who's said that.
DS: Not to compare myself, but the Beatles were the same way. At a certain point, they just threw in the towel, they said I don't want to play in front of people with bad sound conditions, and nothing sounds right. We want to have a string section, a brass section, and use tape loops and crazy stuff. So that's what they went and did. That's always what's attracted me to recording as well, having all those sonic possibilities, and the time to be able to make them fit together in the best possible way.
