Oh yeah, BABY...The CULT! These guys rocked the world and the music inspired me rock other people's worlds!!....?...ummm yea. One of the greatest pioneering bands of the '80s and early '90s and one of the greatest bands...PERIOD. There was lame-o crap like the News Kids, Vanilla Ice, Culture Club (and many more) and everyone seemed to follow the leader. But NOT the Cult. They stood out, man! They did what they wanted to, not what everyone else was selling out for. Ian & Billy inspired some great bands too, like Nirvana, Guns'n'Roses and Oasis. That's what its all about, music making music. You never knew what they would do, but it was always something different. So, ENJOY THE PAGE!

Cult Tribute Album

All good things must come to and end, I guess, but it still sucks ass that it had to. But this would be a really interesting time. Ian quickly formed Holy Barbarians, some crazy mofo stuff, and after a while Billy joined forces with Mike Peters to create ColourSound - which I say is at LEAST 47% better than Holy Barbarians. It was a crazy-amazing time in where the two Cult leaders explored their own styles of music a lot more, and hopfully create some even more RAWK in their tunes.

We all knew that the Cult would come back. There wasn't enough done for them to stay apart. Music is getting really crap-tastic again and we need someone to stomp out the Ricky's and the Backstreet's in the Biz. That someone is THE CULT. If you thought they rocked before, just wait and see what they're gonna do now! SO sit back, relax and enjoy.
