Episode 1 - Wheeling and Dealing

Day 2 – Freya

Bright and early in the morning, Aurora woke up. The sun just was beginning to rise. Everything else in the world seemed to be fast asleep. Seeing that the fire was barely flickering, she decided to go and try to find some more firewood. While doing so, she spoke some of her thoughts on the game to the camera.

“So far, I think the game has been pretty peaceful,” Aurora said, “I'm disappointed I'm going to tribal council so early, but hey, that's the way it works. I really wish someone on my tribe would have the balls to make a decision in terms of who to vote for, because so far, everyone's playing it safe and that really makes me angrrrry.”

Aurora noticed some loose branches lying about on the ground. She started to pick them up, as she continued to express her thoughts on the game.

“My tribe is full of pretty neutral people,” Aurora said, “and since it’s so early in the game and nobody wants to risk ruffling feathers, everyone is masking themselves. I am sure I am coming off as a real b**** trying to pry and find out who the votes are going towards, but people are generally non-receptive, which means one of two things: 1) nobody wants to reveal their thoughts or 2) I am the one they are voting for.”

Having gotten a large amount of possible firewood, Aurora returned to camp. There, she saw that Ben had woken up, and was sitting by the fire.

“Hey,” Ben said, as he saw her come towards the fire, “Whatchya up to?”
“Oh, not much,” Aurora said, as she placed the branches in the fire, “I got some firewood, and I’m stressing over tribal council.”
“Why’s that?” Ben asked.
“Because I don’t feel good about voting for somebody when I barely know anybody.” Aurora stated.
“Yeah,” Ben said, “I told Cat he was evil for giving us 1 day.”
“I agree,” Aurora laughed. She then sighed. “I don’t know, my vote is almost going to have to be a random decision.”
“Who have you talked to the least?” Ben asked.
Aurora thought for a moment, then said, “Jon, I think. Him or Valerie. I'll tell you right now though, I won't vote for you.”
“Really?” Ben asked, somewhat surprised.
“Yeah,” Aurora smiled.
“Thanks.” Ben grinned back.
“Well, I usually feel that being upright and honest doesn't hurt,” Aurora laughed.
“I don't really know who I am voting yet,” Ben stated, “I'll probably just follow the majority.”
“See, that's what my plan was,” Aurora explained, “but it seems no one can tell me anything firm. People suggest things, and then its like, ‘but I'll have to see...etc...’”
“Has anyone brought up my name?” Ben asked curiously.
“No, not that I have heard,” Aurora stated. “The only people I have heard suggested are Valerie, Megs, and Jon.”
“I’ve heard Megs before,” Ben commented. “Haven’t heard Valerie though.”
“I suggested Val,” Aurora explained, “not that I have any problem with her as a person, but because I feel these tribes aren't going to last long before a switch, it made sense to me to try to vote out the strongest links. But, at the same time, she could be a key component at immunity challenges. So it’s also a bad idea.”
“Yeah, we don’t even know whose good at challenges or not,” Ben laughed.
“Well, for the sake of security,” Aurora smiled, “If you don't want to vote me out, do you want to vote together?”
“Sure!” Ben agreed, “Why not?”
“That's my general thought at this point,” Aurora laughed.
*
Ben: Somehow I let Aurora lure me into an alliance. She really is a smart and nice girl, but unfortunately my alliance had targetted her, so I’m going to have to vote for her.
*
”Were there any names you had in mind for the vote?” Aurora asked.
“Not really, everyone seems nice,” Ben stated, “Jon seems ok, but a little odd. I can't figure out why but I don’t trust him.”
“Well, giving what's been mentioned,” Aurora asked, “would you be willing to vote out either Jon, Megs or Val?”
“Okay, but who else would vote for them?” Ben asked.
“I don’t know, I’ll try to find out,” Aurora stated.

Aurora then went off to find more people to vote with her and Ben. By now, everybody was awake, giving plenty of possibilities as to who to ask. The first person she decided to try was Valerie.

“Hey Val!” Aurora smiled as she approached her.
“Hi,” Valerie smiled kindly back.
“What’s up?” Aurora asked.
“Nothing Valerie said.

Valerie then flipped her hair back, and tried to ignore Aurora. However, Aurora kept on talking.

“Heard anything about how the vote might go tonight?” Aurora asked.
“Not really,” Valerie stated.
“The problem here is I haven't heard ENOUGH stuff thrown around,” Aurora laughed.
“I've heard practically every person's name being mentioned at least once or twice.” Valerie stated, rolling her eyes.
“Wow, I couldn't find one person who was able to give me a solid answer!” Aurora exclaimed, somewhat surprised.
“That's probably because the name I heard the most often was your own.” Valerie said, smiling at Aurora.
“Maybe I should take that as a bad sign for me,” Aurora laughed, trying to keep the mood positive.
“Might be a good plan,” Valerie said, glaring at Aurora.
Aurora stared back at Valerie, then said, “Oh yay! A day and there's already a b**** attack. What’s this all about?”
“All what?” Valerie stated.
“This little attack on me,” Aurora retorted, “I'm curious what the circumstances are behind it.”
“That’s not any of your business,” Valerie stated.

Valerie then stood up, and walked away from Aurora, leaving her alone. Angrily, Aurora stormed back over to Ben.

“Hey,” Ben said as she came over, “Do we got more people voting with us?”
“Valerie basically just attacked me.” Aurora stated.
“What did she say?” Ben asked.

Aurora then recounted her and Valerie’s skirmish, telling every detail.

“She directly threatened me, so my vote is going for her.” Aurora said firmly.
Ben was silent for a moment, then confessed, “Someone else just told they're voting you.”
“Was it Steven?” Aurora asked.
“I don’t want to say,” Ben replied.
“Grrr, I don’t know what started this!” Aurora shouted out loud.
“Do you know who Megs is voting?” Ben asked.
“I'm going to try to get her to vote Valerie,” Aurora stated, “Would you be willing to do the same?”
“Sure,” Ben said, “If you can get enough.”
“If you help me out, I have your back for the rest of the game,” Aurora promised. “Okay!” Ben smiled.

With that, Aurora left Ben to go talk to Megs. She found her sitting nearby, eating some berries they’d collected yesterday.

“Okay Megs, here’s the plan,” Aurora stated, as she crouched down next to Megs, “Valerie is at the tip of a small pyramid that wants me and you voted off, so three of us are voting against Valerie, and if you vote that way as well, we have the majority.”
“Who is voting Valerie?” Megs asked, rather confused.
“Me, Ben, and Jon,” Aurora said, “and you know if you vote her too, I will have your back for the rest of the game.”

Megs paused, unsure what to think.

“I was told by 2 people that you and me were the 2 names being discussed the most for potential votes,” Aurora added, “and Valerie was the person who started it. So, are you in?”
“I’m not sure yet,” Megs stated, “I’m still trying to process this.”
“Okay, that's not a problem,” Aurora said, “Just like I said, if we get rid of her now, we're okay. If I get voted off tonight, I think they will go after you next. That seems to be the general thought, based on what I'm hearing.”

With that, Aurora then left Megs to think, and rushed over to talk to Jon.

“Hey,” Aurora said, greeting Jon.
“Hey Aurora,” Jon replied, “What’s up?”
“Not much,” Aurora stated, “But within the last 5 minutes, I have uncovered a huge group plot to vote me off.”
“Really?” Jon asked.
“Yep,” Aurora confirmed.
“Who’s in it?” Jon questioned.
“From the impression I’m getting,” Aurora stated, “Valerie, Kelley, and possibly 2 other people.”
“Not me,” Jon sighed, “Sucks that we’re on the outside…”
“Well, if you help me out and vote for Valerie, you have my word I will have your back for the rest of the game.” Aurora said.
“Alright, I’m for it,” Jon smiled.
“Thank you so much!” Aurora exclaimed.
“Not a problem,” Jon said, “but are you getting others as well?”
“Yes,” Aurora stated, “Ben and Megs, and that’s majority!”
“Cool!” Jon smiled.

Aurora then rushed off to talk to some other people. After she had left, Jon sighed, slightly upset.
*
Jon: I like Aurora. She seems like a fun girl. However, I am voting for her tonight, because of her dehydration issues. Also, I believe that's what the majority is doing. It's all about majority at this point, nothing else.
*

Meanwhile, Megs and Kelley had gone off into the woods just before Tribal Council to collect more berries. As they did, the two talked about the game so far.

“Who do you think you are voting for?” Megs asked.
“I think the group is going for Aurora,” Kelley stated, “but Aurora is trying to get Valerie out now. So I don’t know what’s going on.”
“She told me that Valerie wants me gone,” Megs stated.
“I don't think so,” Kelley said, “Valerie said last night she wanted you to stay.”
“Ben and Jon are voting with her against Val,” Megs informed Kelley, “Or at least, that’s what Aurora told me.”
“She told Ben that you were voting with her for Val too,” Kelley said.

The two looked at each other, both somewhat confused.

“I’m lost,” Kelley laughed. Megs laughed along.
“Well, I want to stick with you,” Megs then said, “unless you don’t want me to.”
“I'd like that too,” Kelley agreed, “It's always good to have someone looking out for you.”

The two laughed again.

“So stick together?” Megs asked.
“Sounds good!” Kelley smiled. However, on the inside, she wasn’t feeling quite as happy as she seemed…
*
Kelley: I do have an alliance with Val, Ben and Steven, but I'm also looking out for Megs and Jon. I don't know HOW I got roped into all these deals so quickly, but I think I'm going to pay for it eventually.
*
“So, you decided who you’re voting for?” Megs asked, as they headed back to camp.
“I'm thinking people are going Aurora still,” Kelley stated, “she's now offering a lot of people deals to stick with them for the rest of the game, and if she's doing that to more than one person, I don't know if she can be totally believed.”
“I guess I’ll vote her too,” Megs stated.
*
Megs: I really think Aurora is gonna get voted out. She's already wheeling and dealing, and most people aren’t gonna trust her.
*

Soon, it was time to go to Tribal Council. Everyone on the Freya tribe packed their bags, and began the hike to Tribal Council. As they did, Ben caught up with Aurora to talk to her.

“I think I am going to have to vote for you,” Ben whispered to her sorrowfully.
“Why?” Aurora asked.
“It’s nothing personal,” Ben insisted, “You seem like a great person, but I think everyone is voting for you.”
“Okay,” Aurora sighed.
“Hopefully you’ll come back,” Ben smiled.
“No, I won’t.” Aurora stated.
“Yeah you will!” Ben exclaimed, “The host said Revenge would be involved.”
“Well, there is going to be one BIG scene at Tribal Council tonight,” Aurora warned Ben, “a BIG one.”
Ben paused, then asked nervously, “Are you mad at me?”
“No,” Ben stated, “I’m not mad at you. I’m mad at the people who orchestrated this.”

With that, Aurora hiked on quicker, as Ben slowed to the back of the pack. Silently, Ben smiled to himself.
*
Ben: I somehow wiggled out of my alliance with Aurora without her being too mad at me. I told her I was voting 'with the majority' which actually is 'with my alliance'. I don't consider myself a sheep, but she can call me what she wants, I don't have the balls to tell her 'I got an alliance and we're voting you'. *laughs*

Day 2 – Tribal Council

In the middle of the desolate Swedish wilderness, the Freyans arrived at their Tribal Council, a small ice castle constructed. Inside, a large bonfire awaits them. On one side are 2 benches, while on the other side is Cat, ready to begin the Tribal Council.

One by one, Valerie, Megs, Aurora, Kelley, Jon, Steven, and Ben all enter the Tribal Council area.

“Hello Freya,” Cat says, greeting them “Welcome to your first Tribal Council. Please take a torch, and light it in the fire. Fire represents life here at Tribal Council. Without it, you do cannot live in the game.”

All of the Freyans take a torch, and light it in the bonfire. After doing so, all of them take a seat on one of the benches at Tribal Council, and wait for Cat to begin the ceremony.

“So on their second night in the game, Freya goes to Tribal Council,” Cat states, “Kelley, how do you feel about all this madness?”
“I was totally overwhelmed by everything that happened the first night,” Kelley replies, “There was so much going on, and everyone was trying to talk at once, and it just turned into a big mess. When we got things finally situated, we lost immunity...which is disappointing because I don't want anyone to leave.”
“Jon, what are your thoughts on the your tribe so far?” Cat asks.
“My tribe is a good tribe, even if Charles didn't want us,” Jon laughs, “We all seem to have very strong personalities. I can't tell which people are gonna butt heads, but there will be some fights! But, seriously, I think that we'll be able to bounce back from the loss.”

“Valerie, how did you feel about getting to select who was in Freya?” Cat questions.
“It rocked!” Valerie smiles, “Freya is my hand-picked tribe of kickass people.”
“Ben, how are you basing your vote tonight?” Cat asks.
“Everyone is really nice and this vote is VERY hard,” Ben states, “given we only have one day to decide. I am going to base my vote on what the majority goes with...no one is really inactive so I can't say I have a great reason. Sorry to the person I vote for!”

“Megs, do you think there is a possibility you will be voted out tonight?” Cat asks.
“Well there’s always that possibility,” Megs says, “and I'll admit that I'm not too confident after missing most of yesterday. Time will tell I suppose, but I really hope I get to stick around everyone seems so nice.”
“Aurora, as you know,” Cat asks, “there is one final twist for the first round to be revealed in a little bit, after I’ve read the votes. Are at all you nervous as to what this could be?”
“I am VERY excited for the twist,” Aurora says, “But, as we all know, twists can sometimes work strongly against you, so there is obviously a bit of apprehension there.”

“With that said, does anyone have anything else they’d like to add?” Cat asks.
“I do,” Aurora states.
“Okay Aurora, you've got the stage.” Cat smiles.

Aurora stands up, and turns to face her fellow tribemates. She sighs, then begins to speak:

“As everyone knows, pretty much every single person in this tribe is voting me out,” Aurora says, “If there are any who aren't...god bless you...and I hate hiding my feelings so I'm going to be honest: I think this tribe is a flock of sheep. More than 2 of you said the only reason I am getting voted out is because other people planned it and you all wanted to go with the majority. I just think it’s very unfortunate I have to leave because a few people don't have the balls to make their own decisions.”

“I would ALSO like to know,” Aurora adds, “who started this little conspiracy, and WHY? I'm not trying to be a b****, but, I just have to say what I feel. I am fine with leaving...I just couldn't leave that issue undiscussed.”

“Anyone have anything else they’d like to say?” Cat asks.
Everyone shakes their heads.
“Alright, then it is time to vote,” Cat states, “Kelley, you’re up first.”

Kelley walks up to the voting podium, writes a name on her parchment. She then places the parchment in the voting urn, and walks off. Her vote is not shown.

Next, Valerie comes up to vote. She writes down the name AURORA on her parchment, then says, “Well, I hand-picked you, but I mean, if you're going to have computer problems, you're going to be a liability later in the game. So, might as well cut off the weak branch early.” Valerie then places her vote in the urn, and returns to the Tribal Council area.

Then Ben comes up to vote. He writes a name down on his parchment, and makes a sad face to the camera. He then places his vote in the voting urn, turns around, and walks back.

After Ben is Steven. Steven approaches the Podium, and writes a name down on his parchment. He starts by writing an ‘A’, then says some stuff to the camera, “…you are is the only one left.” He places his vote in the voting urn, and returns to the Tribal Council area. The rest of his vote is not shown.

Next is Aurora. Aurora approaches the camera, and begins to write a name on her parchment. “This girl was ever so nice enough to inform me I was being voted out,” she says, “So as a nice return of this beautiful favor...I hope this biotch gets a bunch of hives on her way home.” She then flashes her vote for VALERIE to the camera, places it in the voting urn, and walks away.

After Aurora, Jon walks up to the voting podium. He quickly writes down a name, and places it in the voting urn. His vote is not shown.

Finally, Megs approaches the voting podium. After thinking for a moment, she writes down a name. As she does, she says “She's Wheeling and dealing and with all the wheeling and dealing I'm afraid she'd be in too many alliances and stab everyone in the back. But none the less, this is a hard vote since she's so nice and I'm glad I got to talk to her and got to know her.” She then flashes her vote for AURORA to the camera, and walks away.

Once Megs has returned, Cat stands up. “I’ll go fetch the votes,” he says.

After returning with the votes, Cat opens the urn. “Once the votes are read, the decision is final,” Cat says, “However, that person will be asked to NOT leave the Tribal Council area, but instead wait here. I’ll read the votes.”

Cat opens the urn, and pulls out the first vote.

“First vote…” Cat says.

AURORA

Aurora nods her head, expecting the vote.

“Second vote…”

AURORA

“Third vote…”

VALERIE

Valerie rolls her eyes, and glares at Aurora again.

“Fourth Vote…”

AURORA

“Fifth Vote…”

“And the first person voted out of Vengeful Survivor: Sweden is…”

AURORA

Following Cat’s orders, Aurora sits waiting. Everyone begins to wonder what will happen next.

“Aurora, I’m sorry to tell you that the tribe has spoken...” Cat says.

“Well, it was expected.” Aurora sighs.

“...however, your torch is still lit...” Cat adds.

“This will be a twist continuing throughout the entire game,” Cat explains, “It will be known as the Delayed Departure. After somebody has been voted out, they will NOT leave the game. Instead, they will remain in the game for one more round. They will be allowed to talk to players and be involved in the game, although not being involved in immunity challenges, and will be with whatever tribe does not have immunity. Then, at the next Tribal Council, they will vote, getting one final shot at REVENGE. After the votes are read and the next person is ousted voted out, they’ll depart from the game once and for all.”

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Aurora cackles, smiling proudly.
“Wow,” Steven states.
“Oh my…” Valerie says, rather stunned.
“Scandalous!” Jon exclaims, grinning.
”Well, that just makes the sun continue to shine,” Aurora says, glaring at Valerie.

“With that said,” Cat states, “You may ALL head back to camp.”

All 6 remaining Freyans and Aurora collect their belongings and their torches, and begin the hike back to camp, still 7 remaining.
