University Park Apartments
University Park Apartments is a 20-unit complex located in Los Angeles
California. UPA was developed for those families with very low to
low-income for rental at affordable prices. It consists of one
multi-level building with two, three and four bedroom units and a
subterranean garage.
The
amenities include a community recreation room, children's play room and
play area and an on-site laundry facility. An innovative feature is
the computer-training center, which is administrated on site by Family
Renewal Development Center, a non-profit organization, in collaboration with
the University of Southern California. The center, which is
sponsored by Edison Capital, serves as a resource and earning center for
children as well as a computer-training center for adult residents.
