Hillsborough

We didn't stay long at Hillsborough - we just cleared in and moved on to Sandy Island and then Tyrell bay.

Sandy Island

Sandy Island is a tiny spit of sand in the middle of the bay across from Hillsborough with just a cliump of palm trees and a beautiful beach. There are reefs on both sides but you can anchor in front of the island and dinghy in to swim or snorkel. The first two shots are the "perfect beach" there. The third is Destiny anchored there in beautiful clear water and the fourth is the group that stopped for a few hours; they are (left to right) Diane, Connie, Steve, Mike (from Kristali), Ruth and Joe (from Legacy).

Tyrell Bay

These are views of Tyrell Bay. The first is a scenic overlook taken on our walk up past the yacht club. The others are typical scenes around the bay.

These are from our fishing trip on Gabrielle. The first shot is a nice view of the islands just south of Carriacou and the next is, of course, "my" Wahoo - taken just before John gaffed him to the boat.

These next pictures are from the Fourth of July party we had at the Carriacou Yacht Club, a very nice place. There were about 50 people who attended, only about 20 were from the US.

This is the group of people who took the walk up the hill past the yacht club. From left to right; Theresa (Kajsa), the couple from Windome (sorry I don't remember their names), Patrick (Kajsa), Diane and the Kristali crew.
