Trip South 2002

I took lots of pictures of the Bequia Easter Regatta so these are on a separate page.

Canouan

Except for Bequia, we didn't stay anywhere very long going south from Martinique, although I took some nice shots of the places we hadn't been before. The shots above are from Canouan; first is the large windward reef and the second is the view looking south from the hill we walked on. The islands seen are Mayreau in the foreground on the right with Union behind, and the Tobago Cays is on the left with Carriacou in the background.

Bequia

The top Bequia picture is from Princess Margaret Beach of a local boat there, named "No Complain" (very appropriate). The next 2 were taken on our walk to Spring. The first is of Industry Bay and the second is the beach at Spring. Both are on the windward side of the island.

Mayreau

The first one shot is the view looking north from the top of the hill where the town is located. On the left is Salt Whistle Bay and Canuoan is off in the distance. The next is the windward beach near Salt Whistle Bay looking out toward the Tobago Cays.

Petit St. Vincent

The pictures are from Petit St. Vincent, the resort island. In order, they are they view and beach where we anchored, a beautiful beach on the windward side, the view from the top of the tallest hill and the view of the anchorage with Destiny just on the left of the lighter colored water.
