These are from our climb to Fort Rodney at Pigeon Island. The first is the view of the Hyatt from the fort and the second shows some of the climb to get there. The third is me, Heidi and Diane in Fort Rodney. The last is the view from the top of Pigeon Island; on the left is the Caribbean and on the right is Rodney Bay. Tour
These are shots from Bagshaws where they make very nice, but too expensive, batik clothing and other articles. 
 
These are from our short tour with a rental car. The first is of Diamond Falls. The colors are from different minerals in the rock, which also makes the water in the pool and stream appear milky. The next is Gros Piton taken from the Jalousie Hilton's beach, a truly beautiful spot. The next is a view of the Pitons with the town of Soufriere, taken from the road back to Gros Islet. The last is of the Sulfur Springs. There are some goats in the foreground for a reference of size. The place truly looked like it was from another planet (except for the goats!) Pitons
These last shots are from the passage to Bequia, taken as we passed the Pitons. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and the light wasn't great, but they are still very impressive, particularly from sea, where they rise directly from the bottom of the Caribbean. |
