Trinidad - 2002Tours
  These shots are from the tour of the Pan yard and Angostura. The first one is a demonstration of how they start making a steel drum (properly called a steel pan); notice the large wooden ball in his hands - it makes quite a noise when they bang it into the top. The next is the Angostura Coat of Arms and then what they were bottling that day, for Bacardi. Caroni Swamp/Asa Wright Preserve
  These pictures are from the Caroni Swamp and Asa Wright Nature Center. The first is from Caroni with one of the "locals" (a 6 foot Cayman) waiting by the side of the main trail. The next is a Golden Crowned Warbler on her nest by the side of the main trail. The last shot is an Oilbird inside its cave. |
