Guadeloupe

Where is Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is about 30 miles southeast of Antigua. The passage was not pleasant, about 25 knots on the nose most of the way with 6 to 8 foot seas. But once we got into the lee, it was like a giant hand flipped a switch turning off the wind and waves.

We arrived March 31 and left on April 14 from Basse Terre and then went to Iles des Saintes. We were there for 3 days, leaving for Dominica on April 17. The Saintes are only about 10 miles south of the main island of Guadeloupe.
