We first arrived at the twin island country of Trinidad and Tobago on July 31, 2001 at Chaguaramas, at the northwest corner of Trinidad. The entrance to Boca de Monos, one of the passages to the Gulf of Paria, was calm but had a considerable swell from a tidal current. We left the boat on the hard while we visited home and went back to the CrewsInn Marina until December 8, when we left to go back north.

We came back on April 16, 2002 and stayed back in CrewsInn - a very nice marina. We finally left again on July 6, after a very enjoyable stay.

We came back to Trinidad again on December 20, 2002 and stayed a while in Scotland Bay and Chacachacare and then went back into CrewsInn just after New Year's; they even had our old slip for us! We left again on April 24, after spending 6 weeks on the hard. We love Trinidad but were glad to leave.
