Makon is often sent on missions of recruitment, reconnoisance, and assassination. During these missions, he is often first in command, or second to one of his Alphas. His duties are also to his "hive," a small group of xenomorphic dragons bound and/or bonded to him alone. They, along with Sieban and his bond Lethoc, are his commando team.

Makon's hair falls between his shoulderblades in spiraled blue-black ringlets that he often wears tied back into a 'tail. There are a few wild locks that will not grow any longer, that often escape their bondage, forming a dark, almost electric-blue halo around his head. It tends to emphasize any evil or angry aura about him.

• Eyes
Creamy coffee-brown eyes stare out from beneath Makon's smooth, almost prominent brows. They have no flecks of yellow or green in them, though darker brown speckle the iris near the pupil. When he feels particularly sullen, sick, or sad, they tend to look almost grey. His eyebrows and eyelashes are perfect onyx-black, unlike his full head of hair.

• Complexion
Makon's skin is naturally a honey-brown color, deepening only slightly with exposure to sunlight. His skin is actually darker than his soft-brown eyes, a midpoint between the contrasting light eyes and black hair.

• Appearance
Makon wears light blue pants that are loose and comfortable, with flexible cuffs on the sleeves. The pant-legs fall to just above his knee and are loose enough that when running, the cuff will not catch on his well-toned leg-muscles. There is a third cuffed sleeve on his pants, for his tail. His shirt is loose and open, held in front with three straps like buttons or shoelaces. The shirt, which is a darker shade of blue, is tucked into a wide belt made of fabric the same color as his pants cuffs. His arms and legs are often wrapped with undyed strips of cloth, giving him the look of a street fighter.

Makon was not a born taratus, and is therefore incapable of a full shift into a cheetah. However, if he were able to do so, he would look like the picture featured to the right. A king cheetah is like any normal cheetah whose markings are, instead of polka dots, bars that run together closest along the spine. Kings are also known to have a short mane or crest that runs down its spine along the neck and back.

• Personality •

Much about Makon is ruled by hormones, if not his emotions. He is naturally naive and trusting, despite the fact that he is often used by people for their own aims. Despite what his actions indicate, he is very sensitive, and easily hurt as a result. His one goal in life, to exact his revenge upon an elder brother for leaving the boy for dead, has lead to a complete turnaround in his life. Like Sylnes he was on a track team in high school, caught up in the drama of being a reckless teen. But now he is a death commando, finding more and more that he loves the kill. Any social taboos he had been afraid of before he now commits freely because there is little concept of "civilized" culture in his adoptive House. The hunt has become a competition between predator and prey, the delivery of death the prize for the victor. He longs for the day when he can pit himself against his brother.

Meantime the attentions of his lover Caoiloch, Rh'thaou's Alpha female, has emboldened him. Arrogance and overconfidence have lead to an almost flippant additude in the face of Erloch, leading to slowly escalating confrontations. At this point in time, Makon lacks the strength of vision required of a good leader. This is illustrated by his rash, even thoughtless decisions, spur-of-the-moment. Though such faults are displayed by Erloch, the Alpha male has many good points to add to the co-leadership that Makon does not. The boy lacks the power of pure strength, the intimidation factor, and the experience of working alongside Caoiloch as a team. Only time and maturity would tell whether Makon outgrows his thoughtlessness ... unless something drastic were to alter his perspective on life.

Dagor, the black-on-black xenomorphic Hathian hybrid hatched at Cy Dragonstake's second Apocolypse Clutch. Other dragons that look to him are Orah, a hybrid born in the classic chest-burster style, out of Tyrach; Pencara, and Usiorn, whose features lean a little more toward the Hathian than the xenomorph.
