The pop-rock band
known as The Uninvited Guests evolved
through at least three distinct phases and launched
several musical hobbies, now spanning three
decades, across the United States. The band brought
happiness and good times to audiences from as far
north as Dayton, Ohio, as far south as Newport,
Kentucky, as far west as Bloomington, Indiana, and
as far east as Athens, Ohio. For a period of almost
six years the band performed for disturbed children
in mental institutions, drunken college crowds, and
jaded goths in stylish bars. In the beginning, the
band played 30 second songs driven by the
electronic rhythm section built into a family room
organ. At their height, the band was at the cutting
edge of the post-new wave dance pop movement then
flourishing in Fairfield, Ohio. We urge you to read
on if you would like to know what happened in
between.
