GOOD NEWS!!! Series 3 of DRESSING FOR BREAKFAST is
finally being aired in the UK 9:30pm Friday nights on
Channel Four. Check
the UK TV Guide for
more details. There is no news as to when Series 3 will be
aired in North America.
DRESSING FOR BREAKFAST follows the lives and loves of two
independent woman-of-the-90s; Louise (Beatie Edney) and her
best friend and confidant Carla (Holly Aird). Louise is
single and unfortunately doesn't seem to have much luck with
men. Carla however has a live in boyfriend, Dave (Nigel
Lindsay), who takes the girls abuse with loving good humour
and occasional snappy comeback. And then there is Louise's
eccentric mother Liz (Charlotte Cornwell), who's life is
rallying for one social cause after another.... and one self
inflicted disaster after another.
Reoccurring characters include Fab, Louise's
understanding stepfather in Series One; Graham (Richard
Durden), his less than ideal replacement in Series Two; and
Rose (Sophie Stanton), an old, alcoholic, school chum.
Created by Stephanie Calman and based on her 1988 novel of the same name, DRESSING FOR BREAKFAST is a
witty, stylish and original sitcom. Its sharp, frank
observations about men and relationships providing a
hilarious insight into the female psyche.
