Hi Everyone,
Well I was talking to someone in ICQ the other night and they brought up one of those ideas that makes you smack yourself in the head and and ask why you didn't see that! Starting with Valentine's items we will provide a separate page on the site that lists all the products we have found for that holiday that year. This way people will have one quick page that will show them everything that we know is available. This should help everyone with that last minute Looney Shopping! If this works out pretty good we will start one for regular items too.

If you see any new items in stores, have any other news or would like to submit something to the newsletter please email it to me so I can spread the word!

-SavOn Drugs has a Taz water fountain. It is made by Shelby Ltd.-the same company that makes the Bugs one we mentioned a few months ago. It has a green base with Taz in the center waving some broken stuff around. The water bubbles up through the pedestal in front of him. The best part was the price-$27.99. That's way less than the Bugs was going for.

-Mervyn's has their Looney Tunes Ornaments on sale. They carry the Kurt S. Adler line which usually means it is entirely wood or shaped resin placed on a wooden background. They had 3 Wreaths-Bugs, Tweety, and Taz and 5 Snowflakes-Lola, Bugs, Tweety, Sylvester and Taz. They are $5.99 each regularly but are currently on sale for 30% off. Thanks to Michelle for the tip!

-JC Penny's has lots of stuff in their catalog. I had written them off for carrying Looney Tunes a couple of years ago but they have come back pretty strong. The numbers after the names are the catalog order numbers if anyone wants to call them and order(1-800-711-9624 west of the Mississippi and 1-800-711-9485 east of it).

They also have Storage stuff for kids. It is plastic furniture with Classic Toons or Tweety on them. You can get a wall shelf, storage cart, locker and footlocker. All are $39.99 each.
Our local store also had some bedding items and ceramic bathroom stuff. The sheets were Tweety and Sylvester in hearts(same as the set from the WB catalog a few months back) and Space Jam. The bathroom items were a toothbrush holder, water cup and Daffy soap dish. They were all $12.99 on sale at ours.

-Well we found one of the Mr. Christmas items but we had to order it directly from them in Tennessee. It was the Taz Tree Topper and it is the only thing they have in stock. He is pretty cool but a bit pricey at $49.99. If anyone is interested you can call them and order at 1-901-365-6040. Just press 1000 and tell them you want to order a product as a consumer. Also I found out that they did not make the Carousel or Animated Waterball :( The manager had no idea if either was in the works for next year or not.
-There is a set of waterballs and cast-iron stocking hangars out this year. I haven't found them anywhere but a friend recently picked a few of them up for us in Canada. There appear to be 6 waterballs(by Matrix I think) that are about 3" tall and have a circular dome. They are similar to the oval dome ones put out by Matrix in '96 but have different characters. Bugs, Taz, Daffy, and Marvin are the 4 we managed to get. I have no idea who made the Cast Iron Stocking holders. We have a set of different ones that came out in 96 but they have no maker on them, just the copyright. Once we get the package(probably at least a month coming from Canada!) I'll let everyone know. They were Bugs and Daffy.
-There is a set of Christmas plushes out. Reindeer Taz, Tweety in Stocking Cap, Daffy in Santa Suit and Sylvester in Hat. All about 12-18" tall. I haven't found them in any stores but have seen them on EBay(www.ebay.com).

-Added 25 new clipart images. Mostly Christmas along with 1 Birthday, 4 logos, 3 Marvins, and 2 Lovables(A Lola one!).
-Unfortunately we had to switch to Moderated on the Mailing List. We had a rather rude visitor and we will keep it moderated until I am sure they are gone. This will delay messages a little going out but we usually check our email 5-6 times a day so it shouldn't be much of a delay.
-The Site of the Month for December is Mr. Michigan J. Frog. A small site dedicated to the infamous frog. Check it out at http://captain.sc.whecn.edu/~pjohnson/michigan.html.
