Hi Everyone,
This was a slow week for new items out here. The major stores have everything out but the drug stores and specialty stores haven't put much up yet. I am sure hoping that the smaller stores will carry a lot. Despite the fact that there is more than ever coming out this year very little of it has shown up out here. Maybe we are just in a "Looney Tunes" drought in Cal :)

-Walmarts has 3 Silly Sipper cups in. They have a twisty straw and a character hanging on the top of it. They have Taz, Tweety and Bugs. $2.49 each.

-Walmarts also has tons of zipper pulls and keychains in. They have about 12 different ones that you can get as either a pull or a keychain. The figures are the same. There are 2 Tweety's, 2 Taz, Wile E., Sylvester, Bugs, Daffy and Marvin figures plus 3 Mini Books. $1.97

-Walmarts has the Motorized Pez/Skittles dispensers. The figures all move and take candy from the holder beside them and hold it out to you. They are on clearance at our store for $3.50 each. These are nice for display. There are 4 of them: Taz, Bugs, Marvin and Wile E. & Roadrunner.

-There is a third calendar out this year. This one is nice. It features 12 pictures of cartoons titles and comic book covers. They are not historically accurate(I know-picky picky) but the pictures are nice. It is made by At-A-Glance Day Dreams and is $12.99. We have only seen it at a calendar store in our local mall but they should be available in a book stores and other places that carry At-A-Glance desktop products.

-There is a Bugs Foamy Friend(bath puff) to go with the Tweety and Taz ones we saw at Sears. This one has Bugs' head on an orange puff. There is also a set of Bath Fizz tablets(they fizz like Alka Seltzer and color the water) and Bath Paint(soap that you smear on like paint). We have seen them all at several drug stores, Targets and Albertsons(a grocery store) so you should be able to find them in a lot of places.

-We got the free comic book that ACT II popcorn was giving away in the mail. It said it was a special issue but it is really DC Comics No. 45. We didn't see anything special about it-it was free though :)
-Southpeak Software has released it's next 4 titles. Two of them are Looney Tunes Crazy Paint ones, Duckbumps and Home Tweet Home. These are paint programs for 3 to 8 year olds. We will be doing a review of Home Tweet Home next week. They are $19.95 and you can find them in most office supply stores and Kmarts(they actually had a display for them there). -We have added a Site Accelerator. This is a thin JAVA applet that preloads items from the next page. It can only guess what the next page is but it is pretty successful so far. The wait times on the site have dropped some this last week and the more data it gets to work with the "smarter" it should get at accelerating the site. If you get any JAVA errors or anything weird happens please let us know!
-We added some Looney Tunes Christmas waves to the Christmas car.
-A new clipart pack was added. 3 Bugs, 1 Taz, 2 Daffys, 1 Elmer, 1 Marvin, 1 Birthday, 1 Porky, 2 Sylvesters and 12 Christmas.
-The webcards section is almost done now. We have permanent sections for Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's, Birthdays and 2 sets of characters. This should make it easier on us since we don't have to change them over anymore and give everyone a much bigger selection(some people like sending Halloween cards in June :) You can now also find 36 images in the character sets that should cover most occasions for cards. We have one more section that we want to add in the future. It will be the miscellaneous Holidays. We only have a few pieces of clipart so far for it though and need to get some more.
-The Site of the Month for November is Marvin's Webula. We've watched this site grow for a while now and it has become a great place to find info on that little green guy. Check them out at http://www.oocities.org/Hollywood/Theater/8990/ .
