January 2001 NewsletterDear
brethren in the Lord, Greetings
in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Our
ministry is in the service of the Lord to help equip and train the body of
believers in the Philippines, as well as, evangelized every people
captivated by false and heretical teachings which is not in accordance
with the Word of truth. Recently, I observed (for one day only) an annual
convention held by the Jehovah's Witnesses in Fairview, Quezon City (near
SM Fairview) last December 29-31, 2000. As I was entering the compound, I
am praying that the Lord will help open the eyes of every Filipino
Christian believer that the harvest is so plentiful especially when were
talking of 8,414 strong Watchtower followers for that specific district
alone. They have gathered for that purpose of encouraging their people to
zealously conduct their door-to-door preaching wherever they are and
whatever they do. They also had the opportunity to introduce for the first
time a complete Old and New Testament in Tagalog translation known to them
as "Bagong Sanlibutang Salin ng Banal na Kasulatan." Although
they have already introduced during 1993 their own New Testament in
Tagalog translation, they are still compelled to translate the Old
Testament not from the original Hebrew but from their English translation
called New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures (revised
1984). I am strongly suggesting for the whole Christian community to
denounce this heretical and pernicious translation and warn everybody
about its mistranslation. The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society have
printed around 104,200,000 books of this kind of translation to be
desseminated around the whole Philippine archipelago.
Unless the Christian pastors, lay leaders and members are informed
about it then Filipinos starting from this generation will learn to accept
this book as a "reliable" translation along with NIV, NASB, KJV,
and others. I have produced a Tagalog tract to expose the fallacy of this
"Bagong Sanlibutang Salin ng Banal na Kasulatan." You have my
permission to reproduced it as many as you can so that believers can be
equip in sharing the truth with every Jehovah's Witnesses they meet. They
can also hand this to every Jehovah's Witnesses if they are not prepared
so that the former will be encourage to think and make some research.
Once
again, I would like to extend the ministry's invitation to offer a free
cult-awareness seminar in your church, ministry, or organization. Let me
know of your desired topics that you want to be discussed for your church
pastors, lay leaders, and members such as the following:
Some
of the topics may vary in time duration from 1-2 hours per subject. Advise
your church member to invite their cultist friends, family, and relatives,
so we could use the opportunity in sharing the gospel with them during the
seminar. Free tracts and articles are distributed during the session.
Books for cult witnessing are also available at a low prices (limited
copies only). Please
inform us early of your interest in conducting a free seminar so we could
arrange a schedule for your church ministry. Kindly call 0917-4643442
(look for Bro. Jun). If
you want to make some financial contribution to this ministry, please do
so by sending it to our address. "Controversy
for the sake of controversy is sin. -
