August 2001 Newsletter
To our Faithful Partner in the Ministry,
Truly the Lord gives us great providence to make His truth known in our country, the Philippines, through these cult evangelistic tracts that we just produced. Many Filipino people are surprised by those unexpected literature because of it’s hard facts and revealing messages. A number of Christian believers have already expressed their appreciation and gladness through text messaging because of it’s well-researched and eye-opening information. Of course, we cannot ignore those people, especially from the Elisarian movement (derived from the founder of Ang Dating Daan) who tends to criticized the works of the ministry by vain and straw arguments. I believe God’s word in Isaiah 55:11 stating,
It is also our hope and prayer that another set of tracts
be produced in the near future exposing some, if not all, of the doctrinal
errors of Seventh-Day Adventism, “Oneness”
Pentecostalism, Church of Recovery, New Age Movement and other pertinent issues like homosexuality,
witchcraft, abortion, faith healing, among many others. The
Bereans ministry was invited by the senior pastor of the Body Of Christ Bible Church
to conduct a Cult Awareness Seminar in Labo, Camarines Norte. He
had come across our ministry through those cult evangelistic tracts he
acquired at Philippine Christian Bookstore (PCBS) and started contacting
me by e-mail. After informing him of the ministry’s vision and mission
by conducting Cult Awareness Seminar, he immediately became interested and
invited me to help equip and train his pastors and lay leaders. Since it
will take me at least 8-long hours to travel from Pasay City to Labo,
Camarines Norte. The pastor requested the topics such as
Jehovah’s Witnesses and Ang Dating
Daan (which is very popular nowadays).
He instructed me to take a bus on the 28th of this month
so I could rest and prepare for the next day’s seminar. I was
accompanied by his close friend probably to free me from any worry of
getting lost. It is actually my first time to conduct a seminar outside of
Metro Manila. I do believed that prayers will be lifted up by those people
who knew me personally and also those who has a burden for this kind of
ministry. My wife and child will be left for almost two-days during this
occasion so please do not forget to lift them up in your quiet moments.
Thank you
very much for your financial support and prayers. You are a great blessing
in the Lord!
