Gods of FreeportThe following four gods are the most popular deities worshipped in Freeport:
1. If a god has more than one designated alignment, the first listed is the most common. 2. If a god has more than one designated alignment, you can only choose a domain if you are worshiping the alignment related to that designation. Harrimast, God of Pirates: Mariners of all types sacrifice to Harrimast: pirates hoping for rich plunder, and merchants hoping to avoid his other worshipers. He is always depicted as a rakishly handsome buccaneer. [See Technology in Freeport about the cutlass.] Tinel, God of Magic: Those associated with magic, particularly arcane casters, pray to Tinel. Terak, God of War and Valor: Warriors of all types pray to Terak. Fighters, Rangers, and Monks are among the most common. Shalimyr, God of Water: Those who wish to use the seas pray to Shalimyr, for he is the God of all water.
1. These Domains are detailed in The Book of the Righteous. Urian, God of the Air and Sky: Those wishing for freedom from tyranny pray to Urian. Rontra Goddess of the Earth: Those who farm, those who mine the earth, and those wishing to become pregnant pray to Rontra.

There is no universal holy symbol of Zheenkeef, other examples include: shackles around the wrists with the chain sundered, an eye tattooed on the forehead, and a creeping grape vine, dried and wraped around the left arm at all times. Morwyn, Goddess of Healing and Wisdom: Mothers, the weak, healers, and those of desperate need of forgiveness all pray to Morwyn. Zheenkeef, Goddess of Wine, Madness, and Inspiration: Oracles, prophets, and seers of all varieties hold Zeenkeef as their patron. Mormekar, God of Death and Rebirth: Mormekar is worshiped by all people, for death claims all.

These Domains are detailed in The Book of the Righteous. Maal, God of Law and Justice: Dwarves and Humans are the most common worshipers, but all races worship Maal, for he judges the dead. Darmon, God of Travel, Wealth and Joy: Darmon is the most univerally popular god, but Humans are most enamored with his ways. Aymara, Goddess of Love and the Arts: Aymara is extremely popular with elves, but not particulary popular with Dwarves, whose artists are usually adherants of Korak. Anwyn, Goddess of Home, Hearth and Servants: Anwyn is the patron of Women and haflings. In many Halfling communities, she is the only god with a full temple in their honor.
Naryne, Goddess of Nobility: Nobles of all types pray to Naryne, for she is the one who gave their ancestors their station. Canelle, Goddess of Victory and Strength: Fighters, Bararians, Rogues, and others who make their way by virtue of physical prowess name Canelle as their patron. Thellyne, Goddess of Woodcraft, Nature, and the Hunt: Those whose lives rely on, or revolve around, the woods prey to Thellyne. |
