Hello! Welcome to The Meditation Chamber! I've set up this site to describe how I made my Vader costume. My suit has been a work in progress since 1978, and it is always undergoing modifications and upgrades. My costume, shown below, is made mostly from ordinary houshold items and hard ware store finds. Since I stand at a whopping 5'2", the Standard Don Post Studios mask works well with my proportions. I've scaled down all of the accessories to 75%. I'm literally a 3/4 scale version of my favorite Sith Lord! In 2000, I got involved in the internet and discovered how many other people enjoy creating their own Vader costumes. I've provided links to some of my favorite sites and forums. Good luck in your quest to build a Darth Vader costume. "Vaderkinde" |
