In forming compound numbers, Ido makes use of the adjectival -a to indicate multiplication and the conjunction e to indicate addition.

Derivatives

Ordinals

Ordinals are formed from the cardinals by adding the suffix -esm then the ending -a. Ordinals and cardinals may be used as nouns or adverbs by changing the ending to -o or -e, respectively.

Dekeduesma, 12-ma. Trio.

Twelveth, 12th. A trio.


Fractions

Fractions are by the suffix -im.

Duimo, du triimi

A half, two thirds


Multiples

Multiples or formed with the suffix -opl.

Distributives are formed with the suffix -op.
