Toulouse females like to sit on their eggs and are greats mothers. They are considerable smaller then my Buff geese. Their honk is a high pitch then the Buffs. My adult Toulouse geese are skidish and don't like quick movements. However during their first year of life they were not treated properly. Their previous owner did not have adequate fencing. The geese chased people and now Misses Hissy has a limp and Mr. Hissy has something woung with his neck. Their daughter the Little Explorer was born here. She hangs out with her parents in the rear of the crowd but will on occasion like her father come and say Hi when I enter the pen, but Misses Hissy doesn't come near me. They have learn over the last two years that I'm not there to hurt them and they do not attack me, but they will not let me touch them.
