The next day morning ...     Ready for the long day ahead ...
	Opposite , where we stayed the night. It is a two bed roomed villa complete with a kitchen, sitting room, fire place and cooking utensils.

A beautiful sunny morning, opposite the Kinabalu Park Hq Office with Mount Kinabalu in the background. The bus will take us on a 4km ride to the Timpohon Gate (at 1830m) where we will begin our ascend.
You can opt to walk this distance, if you are interested in exploring trails which will take you through thick rain forest.
