By late afternoon we reached the Laban Rata rest house at an elevation of 10,000 feet where we spent the night. There are few rooms and a dormitory, and a restaurant too. There is electricity provided through a power cable running from the power station at foot of the mountain.

In the evening we were treated with these beautiful sunset views from the Laban Rata Rest House.
This was by far one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen. First I could see the neighbouring valley below getting covered with a white canopy of clouds and then, the sun started to disappear in to the reddish horizon above the white canopy of clouds.
