  • A site I like really well is the Joke of the Day site. This has some REALLY funny stuff.
  • The Pig-Latin converter ... this is just solid coolness. Check it out.
  • If you want a free cool multiplayer net game that you don't need to download stuff to play, try going to THE STELLAR CRISIS ROOM.
  • Say, trying to learn how to make a web page? Well, start here!
  • Suburban Witchcraft and Urban Shadows is a freaky, dark, morbid, creative, and terminally COOL witchcraft and gothic page.
  • Find the Spam! Interesting, weird, very difficult game! Try it!
  • The Two Towers MUD is an excellent MUD based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
  • Try The Weirdness Test... I got a poor little 36%... I'm so ashamed.

    Celtic Culture

Sorry, no more programming site. Instead, I'm putting down a general interest site, and I'm going to fill it with miscellaneous things. Keep checking back here.

The Celts (pronounced "kelts") were the original people of Scotland. The art in the page logo is considered Celtic art. Below are the links I liked best from Rampant Scotland. There are also a few druid and pagan links thrown in there.

  • Every Celtic thing on the Web
  • Scottish Culture FAQ
  • Celtic and Gaelic Culture Usenet FAQ
  • The Gaelic Centre for Celtic Art
  • Superstitions of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland
  • Celtic folklore
  • Celtica
  • Every Ogham Thing on the Web
  • The Witch's Cottage
  • Druid.Net
  • Mjolnir's Pagan and Wiccan page
So, visit any good search engines lately? The following are my the best net utilities I have managed to find. Most, as you see, are search engines. I have Netscape's link, for good measure, but I don't think anyone will really need that. I'm afraid I have very little new to add to this section at this point.

Webcrawler is a nice search engine... my personal favorite.
Alta Vista is another good one. I use this one a lot, too.
Yahoo isn't bad either, I must admit.
Motherload is a great search engine that searches about two-dozen sources at a time...
All in One is another multi-searcher
The Anonymizer is a good way to stay private over the net
All 4 One is a useful search engine with a cute name. How can you go wrong?
